MEP's Brexit warning on newts

The city's newts face an uncertain future after Brexit, East of England MEP Alex Mayer and Frog Life's CEO Kathy Wormald have warned, if Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) are not protected by the Government.

This includes Hampton Nature Reserve (Orton Pit) where newts are currently looked after. The pair were joined at Orton Pit by Frank Clark.
