Playgroup committee member Danielle Carver is co-ordinating the event, which will take place at Serpentine Green shopping centre, Hampton, on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2, from 11am to 3pm.

There will be a bouncy castle and inflatable playzone for under-5s from Kid of the Castle, face painters, arts and crafts run by Creation Station, as well as hair and make up for the mums.

And no fun day would be complete without a visit from the princesses from Darling Princess Parties.

All the entertainment will be free with anyone attending asked to make a donation.

There will be a raffle, for which Danielle is looking for prizes, and sponsors - she has one on board already - are needed to help offset some of the costs of the event, which will raise funds for the playgroup, where daughter Poppy attends, and Amazon Ward, which treated Poppy for hip dysphasia.

Anyone who would like to get involved can contact Danielle by email - [email protected]
