Police are re-appealing for witnesses over the theft of a high value electrical cable which forced a Peterborough special school to shut for a day.
Marshfields Special School closed on Wednesday last week due to the theft which happened between 3pm on Tuesday, February 14 and 7.30am on Wednesday, February 15 in Eastern Close, Dogsthorpe.
The 75 metre cable was running between a large generator and the school.
PC Nicole Binns said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious to contact us.”
