Police put dispersal order in place across Lincolnshire to combat hare courser invasion
Despite Covid lockdown restrictions on travel, the force has received more than 1,000 reports of hare coursing incidents in just the last three months, compared to 1,048 for the full season last year.
Under the order, anyone suspected of being hare coursers will be ordered to leave the county.

Anyone who sees hare coursing taking place is asked to contact the police immediately on 999 and provide officers with a description of the people involved, any registration numbers and vehicle descriptions and the location and direction of travel.
However officers urged a note of caution: “It is important people don’t confront people hare coursing or put themselves at risk.”
