A man was arrested after an early morning drugs bust in Peterborough uncovered £8,000 of suspected class A drugs and £2,000 cash.

Police made the bust at 7am on Friday, April 22, at an address in Windmill Street, Millfield.

The drugs were discovered by Police Dog TJ and a man arrested.

The 23-year-old from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of the supply of Class A drugs. He was later released on bail to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on June 20.
