A large quantity of class A drugs was seized in a drugs raid which saw police make two arrests yesterday, Thursday March 23.

At about 2pm yesterday officers conducted a drugs warrant on a property in Edinburgh Drive in Wisbech.

They seized quantities of heroin and methadone with an estimated street value of £3,500.

A quantity of cash and other items suspected to be proceeds of crime was also seized.

A man in his 30s from Wisbech was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. He was later released on bail until April 26.

A man in his 40s from Wisbech was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs and obstructing a police officer. He was later released on bail until April 27.
