Here are two more stunning pictures from the collection of the late Rev Richard Paten, which have been shared with Looking Back by his friend Brian Pearce.

The Rev Paten was the founder chairman of Nene Valley Railway and later Railworld.

He was also president of Peterborough Civic Society and was made a Freeman of the city in 2008.

He also took many pictures of Peterborough and its people.

Does anybody remember that mobile fish and chip shop?

The picture below shows children enjoying the sun and some of them showing off their bikes in Bright Street.

It was also taken in 1974- on August 27.

Have you got any pictures of Peterborough people and places from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s?
