Throughout the week, children across the school took part in a wide range of exciting activities aimed at encouraging active and healthy habits in a fun and engaging way.

One of the highlights of the week was a special visit from Peterborough United (POSH), who delivered a whole-school assembly focused on the importance of healthy lifestyles. Pupils were thrilled to meet the club mascot, along with a player and coach, who inspired children to stay active, eat healthily, and enjoy sport. The visitors also led football workshops, giving pupils the opportunity to develop skills, teamwork, and confidence while having fun.

Children also participated in Healthy Eating Workshops, where they learned about balanced diets, different food groups, and the importance of making positive choices to support their physical and mental wellbeing.

As part of the school’s commitment to promoting daily physical activity, pupils took part in a “Daily Mile” walk throughout the week, enjoying the opportunity to exercise together outdoors with friends and staff.

The celebrations continued with three exciting Sports Days involving pupils from across the school. Parents, carers, and family members attended in large numbers to support and encourage the children as they took part in races and activities. The events showcased excellent teamwork, perseverance, resilience, and sportsmanship from all participants.

A huge thank you was given to Ms. Gaunt, the school’s PE Subject Leader, for organising and coordinating the successful week of activities.
