Local Slimming World member celebrates Outstanding 12-year Achievement

A local Slimming World member has been recognised with one of the organisation’s highest honours after maintaining her target weight for an incredible 12 years.

Denise has been awarded the prestigious Diamond Member Award, an achievement reserved for target members who have successfully maintained their weight loss for 12 months or more. For many new Slimming World members, becoming a Diamond Member is the ultimate goal, making Denise’s remarkable 12-year success even more inspiring.

Denise continues to attend the Werrington morning Slimming World group at Brookside Methodist Church, Gunthorpe Road, Werrington, PE4 7TG, where she is a much-loved and valued member.

Her consultant, Debra, said: “Denise is a valued member of our group and is part of the social team on weigh-in. She’s wonderful to have in group because she generously shares her hints and tips with other members and offers encouragement and support to those who may be struggling. She truly inspires everyone around her.”

Residents will have the opportunity to meet Denise and hear about her weight-loss journey at the group’s Open Day on 15 July, at Brookside Methodist Church. The event will take place from 1.30pm to 3.00pm and 5.00pm to 6.30pm.
