Residents and staff from Bayleaf Care Home took the short journey from the home to the Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery to get some additional plants and flowers for their amazing gardens and also get some inspiration for the new garden projects.

General Manager Katie Wilkinson said: “The Garden Club here at Bayleaf only started a couple of months ago yet already in that short time, the numbers have grown as more and more residents are keen to get involved. Our residents are very proud of the gardens here at the Bayleaf and are always speaking with Mark, our gardener, about ways that we can add more colours and more variety of plants and flowers.

Bayleaf resident Margaret Davies said “I just love spending time in the garden. We are so proud of what we have achieved and I love showing my friends the grounds when they come to visit me”.
