East of England startup named finalist at UK StartUp Awards 2026
Peterborough-based Trauma Pain Support Ltd (TPS) has been named a finalist in the UK StartUp Awards 2026 in the East of England region, selected from more than 2,100 entries submitted nationwide.
Trauma Pain Support Ltd, founded by Esther Christopher, has developed a structured biomechanical rehabilitation framework addressing a major structural issue in long-term recovery after a serious road traffic accident.

“This recognition is encouraging because it shows that the problem Trauma Pain Support exists to address is being taken seriously,” said Esther Christopher, Founder and CEO. “The period after discharge can shape long-term recovery in powerful ways, yet it is often left without clear structure or support.”
The UK StartUp Awards is one of the UK’s largest independent programmes celebrating new businesses. Regional finalists go on to compete at their regional final in June, with winners progressing to the UK national final in September 2026.

Esther Christopher recently spoke on the subject at the NEC Birmingham as part of Naidex / Neuro Rehab 2026, and will be presenting at the 11th World Disability and Rehabilitation Conference in Bali in August 2026. She was also awarded in March 2026 as one of Santander’s Top 50 Women Entrepreneurs in the UK under the SW50 programme.
