Barrington project manager wins prestigious national award
A project manager from Barrington is celebrating after receiving an award for his work at a local housing development.

Luke Woodall won the Pride in the Job 2026 Quality Award for his excellence in on-site management at Redrow South Midlands’s All Saints Gardens development on Haslingfield Road.
For more than 40 years, the National House Building Council (NHBC) scheme has been dedicated to rewarding the industry’s very best performers and is a prestigious accolade site managers aspire to achieve.
To receive the award, entrants must score highly in all areas of build and site management, including quality of workmanship, technical expertise, health and safety and leadership. Judges look for meticulous attention to detail and the special qualities and attributes that set the best site managers apart from the rest.
Luke started his career in the construction industry more than 20 years ago, before becoming a site manager for Redrow in 2020 and swiftly progressing to project site manager five years later.
He said: “I've really enjoyed my time at Redrow South Midlands and have embraced the new challenges that have come with it. Quality is at the heart of everything we do, and it's a great feeling to have that hard work acknowledged with an award.
“This recognition is something I’ve been working towards for a long time and it’s incredibly rewarding to finally achieve it. That said, a site manager is only ever as strong as the team around them – and I’m fortunate to have an exceptional team by my side. This award is as much theirs as it is mine."
This is not Luke’s first accolade; he has now won three NHBC Quality Awards and a Seal of Excellence and was named Regional Site Manager of the Year in 2023.
Elizabeth Carter, Sales Manager at Redrow South Midlands, said: “Since he joined us six ago, Luke’s contribution to our developments has been nothing short of extraordinary, so we’re thrilled his hard work has been recognised by the NHBC.
“His passion and commitment shines through everything he does, and it’s no surprise to see him winning this award.
“The Pride in the Job award is something all site managers want to win, so to receive three such awards across his career really is a wonderful achievement and thoroughly deserved. Well done, Luke!”
Set amongst the wide-open spaces of the Cambridgeshire countryside, All Saints Gardens remains well-connected, with accessible transport links to London for busy commuters. It offers a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes for those with growing families, all built with the craftsmanship and charm of the award-winning Heritage Collection.
