The Whittlesey-based team gives young players the opportunity to develop their football skills, build confidence and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment. Its squad of 10 players competes against teams from across the region.

Allison Homes Central has funded the team’s new away kit, helping the players avoid colour clashes with opposing teams throughout the season.

The housebuilder previously sponsored the team while delivering its Whittlesey Green development. The team’s former Assistant Coach, Martin Dance, also bought his home at Whittlesey Green, adding a personal connection to the partnership.

This latest sponsorship builds on that existing relationship and reflects the housebuilder’s ongoing commitment to supporting the community around its Violet Meadows development in Whittlesey, through initiatives that help young people stay active, make friends and enjoy the benefits of grassroots sport.

John Watson, Manager at Whittlesey Blacks U11s, said: “A huge thank you to Allison Homes for their fantastic support in sponsoring Whittlesey Blacks U11s this season. We’re incredibly grateful for their generosity and for helping support our young players as they continue to develop their skills, confidence and love for the game.

“Sponsorship from local businesses like Allison Homes makes a real difference to grassroots football, helping provide opportunities and creating positive experiences for the children, both on and off the pitch. We're proud to have Allison Homes behind us this season and look forward to representing them every time we step onto the pitch!”

Kelly Toms, Sales and Marketing Director at Allison Homes Central, said: “We’re proud to get behind Whittlesey Blacks U11s and help provide the team with a new away kit for the season ahead.

“Grassroots football clubs play an important role within local communities, helping young people build confidence, learn teamwork and stay active while having fun. As a housebuilder committed to creating thriving communities, we’re proud to support a team located close to our Violet Meadows development and wish them every success for the season.

“We look forward to following their progress and cheering them on throughout the year.”
