What's on in Peterborough's pubs and clubs this week

A musician and songwriter celebrated for his inventive blend of indie-pop, alternative rock, and more recently, electronic music headlines for Club With No Name at The Lime Tree tomorrow.

Hailing from Cardiff, John MOuse is known for his witty, self-aware lyricism and emotive storytelling. He first gained recognition with albums like The Death of John MOuse and Replica Figures..

Support for the evening comes from Deepings band Wounded Newt, making a welcome return to the Club with their unique line in "experimental indie with a rocky punch and a brassy kick". With new music just released they are pricking up music industry ears.

Also back by popular demand are The Scenesters, an exciting young Corby based band whose vibrant energy and distinct sound has recently been described as "if The Smiths and Arctic Monkeys joined forces".
