Voice Kids star helps launch new Fenland youth radio station
Fenland Youth Radio, which is now broadcasting from its studios in Whittlesey, welcomed friends, families and special guests for its official launch on Tuesday.
After testing the water with shows on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, a fuller programme of shows involving music for all tastes, sport and chat will be hitting the community and further afield.

Hide AdMayor of Whittlesey Cllr David Mason officially launched the new studio - based at the town council’s offices in Peel House, Queen Street - supported by young superstar singer George Elliott (11) who reached the final of ITV show The Voice Kids.
Pino Soccio, the driver and inspiration behind the station, was delighted to welcome the mayor, George and senior leaders within Fenland and Cambridgeshire to Peel House.
The station will feature young people in front or behind the microphone, supported by a couple of older hands who will mentor and steer the ship in the right direction.
The youngest behind the microphone on Tuesday was Lily (7) who helped kick off the launch day with Emilee (10).
