Celebrating their successful first year, Shed Head Live Comedy return to The Shed Tap Room and Deli at Peterborough’s Fletton Quays on December 18 with their Big Laugh - Christmas Special.

Since its debut in January the monthly Shed Head nights have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to surpass the reputation as "...fast becoming Cambridgeshire's best new comedy night!"

The Christmas Special bring together five of the year’s favourite comedians, as chosen by club regulars.

So there'll be five comedians, instead of the usual four, and although the ticket price is slightly higher for this show, it is still the best value comedy show in town at just £16 in advance.

"That has always been the ethos behind the Shed Head nights, to bring people quality night of comedy and keeping it affordable," said a spokesperson for the club.

The show will start at 7.30pm and there will be over two and a half hours of laughter from Mike Carter, Dutch Barn - Spirit Of Comedy Finalist; Leslie Gold, who is "...that cool auntie you didn't know you needed" as seen at The Comedy Store; the amazing Lovedev Barpaga, who is without a doubt "one of the most brilliant daft comics you will ever see!" according to Joe Lycett.

Completing the line up are the "extremely likeable, relevant and very funny" Kie Carson, and Ben Briggs, who has become well known for his brash, dark and confrontational style.

As always, holding everything together, the resident Shed Head MC, Gary Pike will be in attendance to guide you through all the evenings events.
