A double helping of Country star tribute show in Stamford
Country music fans are in for a real treat when the only officially endorsed Luke Combs tribute show comes to Stamford twice in one day next month.
Luke Combs UK will be looking to set a new record by selling out Stamford Corn Exchange twice on February 7.
The evening show announced back in July totally sold out by the end of September –some 5 months in advance and demand was so great that the venue asked if the artiste could do an extra show, – and rather than disappoint the fans he offered a matinee performance on the Saturday afternoon.
Theatre manager Judith Mackie said: “We’ve had some tributes in the past who have added a second night and got close to selling both out but we’ve never ever done two shows on the same day so this is a first for us. Initial demand has been great – we’re almost 50% sold out for the matinee show already. We’re also noticing a lot of families booking for the afternoon show as they have children into Luke Combs as well. Country Music is the fastest growing music genre in the world at the moment so Stamford is very much on the case.”

The venue is quite special to the artiste as The Corn Exchange was the very first theatre show he performed at back in January 2024 – a show that Judith admits took her completely by surprise when it was confirmed.
"I’ll hold my hands up and say I’d never heard of Luke Combs when the first show was announced...but it absolutely flew out – outselling the established tribute shows that play here every year.”
