Familiar face is the new director of rugby at Peterborough RUFC
Pete Kolakowski is the new director of rugby at Peterborough RUFC.
Kolakowski, a player and coach at the club in recent years, replaces Shane Manning who left Borough after six years in Fengate to join Biggleswade as head coach.

Kolakowski said: “I'm really excited to be taking on the role. The club already has a fantastic culture and strong foundations in place, and I'm looking forward to building on what has already been achieved.
"My aim is to strengthen that positive environment where everyone feels part of the club, enjoys being involved, works hard for one another and continues to develop. If we maintain those standards, success on the pitch will follow.
“I'm also looking forward to building on the excellent work already taking place across both the men's and women's sections, strengthening the pathway from minis through to senior rugby and creating opportunities for players at every stage of their journey.
“I can't wait to get started and work alongside the players, coaches, volunteers and everyone involved in the club."
A club spokesperson added: “Pete has a long-standing connection with the club and brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience, along with a genuine passion for developing players, coaches and volunteers.”
Kolakowski worked as Borough forwards coach last season. He has also coached local rivals Peterborough Lions.
