The brilliant boxing brothers who keep hoovering up gold medals and major titles
Brilliant boxing brothers have celebrated double golden success in the prestigious Welsh Box Cup event in Neath.
Jacob and Zayne Hussain were both unbeatable as they confirmed their reputation as top young talents by hoovering up more wins and medals.

Jacob Hussain earned his fourth Welsh gold by demonstrating why he’s nicknamed ‘The Silent Assassin’. He was originally in a group of eight, however boxers kept jumping weights, leaving him with one opponent in a straight final.
And the Jack Hunt School student delivered a dominant display, out-working his year older Liverpudlian opponent Riley Macdonald from Wirral CP at 52kg.

Jacob just went through the gears, lifting his tempo and reading his opponent, dominating each round with unpredictable shots, including a killer uppercut which he could not miss. Jacob’s fitness and technical boxing mind left his opponent hitting thin air to win unanimously on points. He has now won an incredible 15 Box Cup golds.
Zayne Hussain boxed twice after going up a weight from U44kg because of a lack of opposition. He beat Welsh boxer Riley Gullam from Tenby Sharks in his semi-final, showing pure class as his triple jab and powerful landing body shots could not miss. Gullam was in trouble from get go as Zayne secured a unanimous points win. Zayne, who is also at Jack Hunt School, boxed another Welsh opponent, Callum Kelly from Llanishen ABC in the finals. His opponent was very game and at first oozed confidence, as did the Welsh crowd. However this was short lived as Zayne simply picked him off round by round to again secure a unanimous points win, his third in this event and his seventh Box Cup gold in total.
The brothers represent the Pound 4 Pound Boxing Academy, Walsall. They are coached by Shaz Hussain and Omar Shaheen.
