Shirazi wins title after beating National champion, Smith stars with stoppage win

Wolves Den Boxing Club star Aamir Shirazi beat a National champion on his way to winning an Eastern Counties Challenge title.

Shirazi dominated the first two rounds against Finn Harris before picking him off at will in the final round to win comfortably on points.

Clubmate Marcus Abraham delivered another impressive display against home fighter Dominic Ashwood at the Bletchley ABC Home Show.

Abraham was pushed hard for two rounds in a 70kg contest before unleashing a barrage of third round blows and winning by knockout.

And Wolves Den boxers Alvin Zheng, Westley Smith, Christopher Smith and Theo Heriot were all selected to fight for the Eastern Counties against the Home Counties.

Christopher Smith delivered the standout display in just his second competitive fight. Smith was outstanding across all three rounds, ramping up the pressure in the final round before stopping his opponent.
