More triathlon glory for PACTRAC's Goodale sisters, plus the latest local darts results

Phoebe Goodale competed in the Super-Sprint Triathlon and took an early lead in the swim, held her own on the bike and, helped by some fast transitions, pulled further ahead on the run to win by 3:40 minutes.

Ophelia Goodale was second out of the water, but with a fast transition she was first out on the bike and took a good lead going into the run to take the win in the TriStar2 event.

Byron Stother came third in the TriStar1 event, missing out on second place due to a technical difficulty with his wetsuit.

Hugo Flikweert finished sixth in his age group in the Tristar 3 event.

In the senior events, Phil Groves (middle distance) and Darren Coley (SprintPlus) both finished 11th overall and fourth in their respective age groups.

Amy Mellor came fourth overall in the 5km swim, choosing not to wear a wetsuit for the event which covered 10 laps of the lake. She finished in 86.42.

In only his second triathlon, Max Beckett competed in the nearby Belvoir Tri Club Triathlon at Grantham, in the TriStar2 category, and won this age group by 25 seconds.

The final race in the PACTRAC mini series was delayed a week to avoid a clash with England’s World Cup semi-final against Argentina.
