**Alex Gibb and Stuart Haw enjoyed fine runs at the Mid Cheshire 5k. The course near the village of Kingsley is regarded as one of the fastest 5km circuits in the country, and as a result attracts the cream of British runners, but PANVAC pair finished the race up there amongst the best of them.
Gibb finished a solitary second outside his personal best (PB) when crossing the line in 16th place with a time of 14:30. Haw was hot on his heels finishing 30th with a 14:46 clocking, knocking over 30 seconds off his previous quickest road 5km time.
A 3rd PANVAC man Kyle Tombleson clocked 16:17 to finish 209th out of 1,019 men.
Helpston’s Ruth Jones also made the long journey to Cheshire finishing as 87th woman with a time of 19:27.
