A spectacularly successful weekend for Peterborough City Rowing Club in St Neots

City of Peterborough Rowing Club celebrated a successful weekend at the St Neots Regatta by collecting a spectacular haul of 15 wins

The action-packed 2 day event on the River Great Ouse proved to be the ultimate team-building weekend. Off the water, the rowing community came alive as members from every squad united to support the massive fleet of competing Peterborough crews. This club spirit continued in to Saturday evening, where some rowers swapped their blades for a lively team BBQ and an overnight camp.

Alongside the 15 wins, City crews secured an impressive tally of second-place finishes, offering a firm foundation to build upon for the remainder of the summer racing season, and 14 athletes celebrated multi-victory weekends across various crew combinations.

Three generations of the Barber family were in attendance to cheer each other on, with James Barber coxing the triumphant Open Eight and Lewis Barber picking up multiple titles.
