Peterborough Panthers fans can relive one of the greatest nights in the club's history
Peterborough Panthers supporters are invited to relive one of the greatest nights in the club’s history when the 2006 Elite League Championship is celebrated at a special 20-year anniversary film night later this month.
The event will take place on Friday, September 25 at the Colonel Dane Memorial Hall in Alwalton, with doors opening at 7.30pm. The evening will give Panthers fans the opportunity to come together and watch the epic 2006 Elite League Final once again on the big screen, 20 years after their club lifted the Championship trophy. And for those attending, there will be plenty more than just the film. A special memorabilia display has been assembled especially for the event, featuring items from the Championship-winning season itself. Among the highlights will be Ryan Sullivan’s 2006 championship-winning bike, race suit and helmet, providing supporters with a unique opportunity to get up close to a piece of Panthers history. There will also be a Panthers merchandise stall, offering a rare opportunity to pick up some special Panthers treats, while the popular Pit Stop Cafe will be open throughout the evening. The first 50 people through the doors will also receive free popcorn, helping to create the full cinema experience as supporters settle down to relive the historic final. The evening will also feature the bingo, with a £25 shopping voucher for the winner, as well as a raffle draw. Entry is just £4 for Panthers members and £5 for non-members, with under 15s admitted free. Bingo and raffle tickets will be available for £1. Supporters are encouraged to reserve their seat by simply commenting on the Peterborough Panthers Supporters Club Facebook post. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HeJ9CZRFb/?mibextid=wwXIfr
