Stamford AFC and Bourne Town have chances to get out of relegation zones on Saturday as Blackstones try and stay out of trouble
Stamford AFC and Bourne Town have home advantage as they try to climb out of relegation zones on Saturday.
Stamford host mid-table Leiston in the Southern Premier Division Central at the Zeeco Stadium and Bourne Town entertain another mid-table side Lichfield at the Abbey Lawn (both 3pm kick offs).
Stamford need to win to have any chance of escaping the bottom four. A draw could be enough for Bourne if Bedworth lose at home to second-placed Anstey Nomads. Bourne are at Anstey next Tuesday.
Blackstones are another team in relegation trouble, but they have a formidable task at home to third-placed Grantham Town. Stones are a point above the drop zone, but the team directly below them, Ashby Ivanhoe, have two games in hand.
Fourth-placed FC Peterborough are at Leiston Under 23s in Division One North of the Thurlow Nunn League. The city side drew 1-1 with fifth-placed Wroxham Reserves at the Millfield Autoparts Stadium on Wednesday. Vitor Vaz scored the FC Peterborough goal.
