Posh v Oldham called off due to frozen pitch

Posh had been due to kick off at Boundary Park at 3pm this afternoon.

But a lunchtime pitch inspection revealed that part of the pitch in one of the penalty areas was unplayable.

In a statement on Peterborough United’s Twitter account, the club said their thoughts were with the Posh fans who had travelled away to support the team.

The fixture will be rescheduled, to be played on a date to be confirmed.
