The Non-League paper have organised awards which include a ‘Manager-of-the-Year’ prize and a Southern League Central Premier Division ‘Player-of-the-Year.’

Sports were top of the Central Premier Division when non-league football was suspended in March in their first season as a step three club with much of the credit going to manager Jimmy Dean.

Dean is no stranger to award-winning as he claimed the Sports Personality of the Year and Coach of the Year prizes in the 2019 Peterborough Telegraph Sports Awards.

Dean will do well to come out on top in his category in the Non League Paper awards as he’s up against National League managers, but star man Dion Sembie-Ferris, the 2019 PT Footballer of the Year could have a shot at the Southern League Player of the Year prize.

Voting ends tomorrow (June 11).
