Now back in League One after a miraculous season with Stevenage, Evans appears to have started his latest signing spree by bringing in former Posh man Nathan Thompson as well as two others in the last week,
Evans is no stranger to making moves in the transfer market having signed so many at Posh in just 11 months - between February 18, 2018 and January 23, 2019 - but were they a success at London Road? And where are they now?
Players are listed in the order they signed for Posh.
17. Darren Lyon
Current club: Kelty Hearts. Evans did not tend to fare well dipping into Scottish football. The full-back Lyon featured just twice after joining from Hamilton. He went onto play for Queen of the South, Queen's Park and his current club Kelty Hearts in Scottish League One. POSH SUCCESS? NO Photo: Joe Dent
18. Jamie Walker
Current club: Bradford. The Posh loanee midfielder from Wigan featured a handful of times for the club and is now at Bradford City, starting half of the games as the side reached the League Two play-offs. POSH SUCCESS? NO Photo: Joe Dent
19. Sebastien Bassong
Retired. A disaster of a signing who disappeared after playing just one EFL Trophy match, having looked a long way from match fitness in that. Played three times for Volos in Greece after leaving Posh, but that was his last club. That was in 2019 and he's only 36 now. POSH SUCCESS? NO Photo: Joe Dent
20. Daniel Lafferty
Current club: Sligo Rovers. The left-back ended up in Ireland after leaving Sheffield United when his Posh loan ended. Failed to make much of an impact or play many games for Shamrock Rovers, Derry City and Sligo since, 34. POSH SUCCESS? He was better that what Posh had at the time. Photo: Joe Dent
