Now back in League One after a miraculous season with Stevenage, Evans appears to have started his latest signing spree by bringing in former Posh man Nathan Thompson as well as two others in the last week,
Evans is no stranger to making moves in the transfer market having signed so many at Posh in just 11 months - between February 18, 2018 and January 23, 2019 - but were they a success at London Road? And where are they now?
Players are listed in the order they signed for Posh.
21. Ben White
Current club: Arsenal. Defender White's career has been on a constant upward trajectory since his handful of games for Posh on loan from Brighton. A key part of the Arsenal side that pushed Man City the closest this season. The fact he gets so little recognition from Gareth Southgate is baffling. POSH SUCCESS? YES Photo: Joe Dent
22. Kyle Dempsey
Current club: Bolton. The midfielder shrugged off a court conviction to become An EFL Trophy winner this season and even scored the opener at Wembley after just four minutes. Improved a lot since his short loan at Posh. POSH SUCCESS? NO Photo: Joe Dent
23. Lee Tomlin
Retired. The attacking genius called time on his professional career in October after time at Walsall and Doncaster after leaving Posh for a second time. Currently player-coach at Southern League side Ilkeston Town while studying for his UEFA A Licence. POSH SUCCESS? Not the second time around, but Posh knew what Tomlin they were signing on loan from Cardiff City. Photo: Joe Dent
