Now back in League One after a miraculous season with Stevenage, Evans appears to have started his latest signing spree by bringing in former Posh man Nathan Thompson as well as two others in the last week,
Evans is no stranger to making moves in the transfer market having signed so many at Posh in just 11 months - between February 18, 2018 and January 23, 2019 - but were they a success at London Road? And where are they now?
Players are listed in the order they signed for Posh.

13. Jason Cummings
Current Club: Central Coast Mariners . Cummings has now committed to playing international football for Australia and went to the World Cup with the side. The striker currently plays in the A-League and scored a hat-trick in the grand final to secure his side victory last week. In the process, he broke a club record for most goals in a season (20). He is now set to become one of the highest paid players in Indian football history, Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City are in a bidding war for him. POSH SUCCESS? NO but it started off so well. 14. Isaac Buckley-Ricketts
Current club: Warrington Town. A forgotten man both during and after his time at Posh. The winger signed from Manchester City even ended up playing for amateur Manchester side Stretford Paddock after leaving Posh, but announced his re-emergence this season by scoring a last-minute winner for Warrington Town in the play-off final to win them promotion to the National League North. 15. Callum Cooke
Current club: Hartlepool. Still under contract with the club that fell out of the Football League this season. The midfielder scored an excellent goal on TV on the final day to help stop Stockport earning automatic promotion. POSH SUCCESS? NO. Photo: Joe Dent

16. Ivan Toney
Current club: Brentford. Currently serving a ban from football until January 2024 for gambling offences, but he has just completed a Premier League season having scored 20 goals, a tally only beaten by Erling Haaland and Harry Kane. The best piece of business Evans did for Posh by far. POSH SUCCESS? UNDOUBTEDLY Photo: Joe Dent
