Table-topping Sheffield Wednesday will only get better says boss after a tough test at Peterborough United
Sheffield Wednesday boss Henrik Pedersen insists his table-topping League One side will only get better.
‘The Owls’ moved to the summit with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Peterborough United on Saturday. They have won all three away games this season by the same scoreline.

Pedersen admitted his new-look side had to work hard to see off Posh, an own goal and a late set-piece eventually sealed the three points. Posh are now 20th,, one place above the drop zone, but that could change on Monday night when Bromley and AFC Wimbledon, the teams either side of them, play each other.
Pedersen told BBC Sheffield: “This win was down to our culture rather than our football. It was a tough, tough away game, but we found a way to win it, from a set-piece which is not like us.
"I would prefer we had won by playing our football, but it’s been a very good beginning for us. We know things can change quickly, but I’m really proud of the way we’ve won four out of five games.
"It was a big job to find 18 new players, and with so many of them having good characters, in one transfer window. It was amazing really.
"We now need to bring everyone up to the required level, but we will work together and we will grow through the season, and we will be much stronger than we are now.
“It was a really good outcome today. We have shown there are many ways to win football matches this season. Our substitutes made a big difference in this one. I am proud of them, but our football will need to get better.”
