An early goal settled the contest and although Posh huffed and puffed they couldn’t find an equaliser despite creating a couple of great chances.
Too many individuals had off nights which is reflected in the player ratings.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Dreadful.
9.
SIRIKI DEMBELE: Only he will know why he dithered, dallied and dribbled, but didn't shoot, when sent away by Brown midway through the first-half. Didn't drive into the penalty area enough. He did in added time when Ethan Hamilton should have scored 5.5.
10.
SAMMIE SZMODICS: He started the game untidily by giving the ball away too easily and never really made his presence felt apart from a brilliant volley which smacked against the crossbar early in the second half 5.
11.
JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS: Never a factor. Got on the end of a couple of crosses without managing to hit the target. Poor service too him, but dominated in the air 5.
12.
ETHAN HAMILTON (for Brown, 68 mins): Added some much needed power to the midfield, but missed the target from a great scoring opportunity 12 yards out in injury time. A big miss 5.5.
