An early goal settled the contest and although Posh huffed and puffed they couldn’t find an equaliser despite creating a couple of great chances.
Too many individuals had off nights which is reflected in the player ratings.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Dreadful.
13.
HARRISON BURROWS (for. Beevers, 78 mins): Didn't really feature in his 20 minutes on the pitch 6.
14.
DARREN FERGUSON: These slow starts are becoming too much of a bad habit and it's a problem that needs to be addressed. Gillingham's style of play shouldn't have come as a surprise, but Posh struggled to cope with it in the early stages. The early switch to a back three was the right move however. His substitutions made sense, but Hamilton might have started to combat physical opponents 6.
