Premier League clubs are believed to be chasing Peterborough United's teenage sensation
The inevitable rumours regarding the future of young Peterborough United sensation Bolu Shofowoke have emerged.
The 17 year-old forward capped a man-of-the-match display in Tuesday night’s 5-1 Carabao Cup win over Watford at Vicarage Road with his first senior goal.

Shofowoke, a prolific goalscorer in Posh age group teams, has been outstanding so far this term thanks to his explosive pace and skill. He also set up the winning goal for Harry Leonard in Saturday’s 2-1 League One win at home to Mansfield Town.
And in today’s Mirror newspaper it’s claimed Premier League clubs Brighton, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest have made enquiries about Shofowoke. French top-flight club Strasbourg are also believed to be interested in a natural centre forward who has been playing on the wing for Posh.
Shofowoke signed a Posh professional contract on his 17th birthday and the deal runs until June 2027 with the option of a further year.
Newcastle reportedly tried to sign Shofowoke when he was 14.
