Peterborough United player wins Scotland call-up

Peterborough United teenager Flynn Clarke has been called up by Scotland to play in two under 19 friendlies against England at St George’s Park next month.

The matches take place on October 8 & October 11 meaning attacking midfielder Clarke will not be available for Posh’s League One derby at Northampton Town on October 10.

First-team regular Jack Taylor could also miss that game if he ie selected for an Irish Under 21 European Championship qualifying game in Italy on October 13.
