In reverse order the average ratings were.....

13.
NATHAN THOMPSON: Apps: 19. Average marks: 6.95. Best performance: v Rotherham (home). Injuries, and a suspension, held this defender back until a solid run of form towards the end of the season when his ability to read the game well made him a vital and experienced member of the defence. Not the quickest, but he’s clever and dogged and will be a key player once the 2020-21 season gets up and running. GRADE: B Photo: Worthing

14.
DAN BUTLER: Apps: 36. Average mark: 7.0. Best performance: v Portsmouth (away). Initially this left-back was a disappointment after moving to Posh in the summer, but, like many others, he was rejuvenated by a switch in formation. Butler’s athleticism had never been in doubt, but his delivery, a key skill in a wing-back, was often erratic until a strong finish to the season which included a couple of goals. 15.
MARCUS MADDISON: Apps: 26. Average mark: 7.0. Best performance: v Rochdale (home). It’s easy to dismiss the maverick’s contribution to the season because of the acrimonious way his Posh career ended, but the form of Maddison, Ivan Toney and Mo Eisa carried Posh thoughout much of the first half of the campaign. Maddison bagged 10 goals and six assists before he appeared to lose interest and departed on loan to Hull. GRADE: B- Photo: Midlands

16.
SIRIKI DEMBELE: Apps: 30. Average mark: 7.25. Best performance: v Portsmouth (home). When the dashing attacking player was sent off minutes after coming on a substitute at Lincoln on New Year’s Day it looked like the season was going to be a washout for a player who had struggled to get a game. But when coming back into the side as a striker alongside Toney he was a revelation, delivering a string of high-class displays. GRADE: B Photo: Midlands
