Posh are letting Port Vale back into this but just as they do Jones breaks down the left. Shows incredible pace to pick up a long ball. Sends a ball across the box. Taylor runs on to if for what looks like a simple guide into the corner but it’s a horrendous touch and the ball goes out of play.

Another late challenge from Harrison, this time on Kent. Referee has word but no second yellow.

Panic stations at the back, takes four tries to finally get a Vale corner out of the box. They’re having a good few minutes.

Dennis Politic and David Worrall come on for Benning and Butterworth.

It’s a back t now, Looks like a 4-2-3-1.

Warning sign for Posh. harrison gets free from a long ball over the top, great defending from Fuchs but Posh don’t pick up the second ball. Butterworth gets a shooting chance on the edge of the six-yard box. Well held by Bergstrom.

Posh do need to kill this off.

Just all Posh now, Taylor chooses, unwisely, to try his luck from range. Easily held.

WOW. You don’t often see that. JCH controls a ball on half way, flicks to past Smith and drives past him, leaving the defender in his tracks. He smashes a cross-come-shot that hits the post. He apologises to those in the middle, so I assume it was a cross but it was great to watch.

Played short again. Ward drives it into the box. Unfortunately, Fuchs is the one is ends up near to and he can’t glance it on.

Free kick headed out but leads to a corner.

Nasty late challenge from Harrison on Thompson. Studs up, blatant yellow card.

Post Vale looking ragged this half, nothing happening for them.
