Peterborough United: Live Blog as Posh fall to abject defeat at Wycombe in League One
The sides meet for the first time since the animosity between the fanbases when Wycombe voted themselves into the play-offs when Covid first struck.
Wycombe lost last season’s play-off final and have made a slow start this campaign and sit in 17th but they did win last time out at Oxford.
Posh will be without Kwame Poku, who is still struggling with an injury.

Team news
Kwame Poku will miss the match with the same niggle that kept him out of Forest Green.
Ben Thompson is expected to be back though. Kell Watts is likely to be fit enough to be contending for a start but whether McCann will choose him or not is yet to be seen.
Wycombe have not hit the ground running after their play-off final defeat against Sunderland last season.
They’re down in 17th having taken 14 points from 11 games- They’ve only conceded 16 though and have scored 14- expect them to be able to make things awkward.
They also won last time out.

Past meetings
Unfortunately, Adams Park has not been a happy hunting ground for Posh- who have won just one of 12 games at the ground. That was courtesy of a Leon McKenzie late winner 19 years ago.
The last visit in the Covid campaign of 2019-20 was traumatic as Posh outclassed their hosts to lead 2-0 through Mo Eisa and Josh Knight, and then 3-2 after a spectacular Ivan Toney strike, before conceding a soft last-minute penalty which Adebayo Akinfenwa converted to force a draw.
Just to add to the frustration Wycombe played the final 15 minutes with 10 men.
Today’s ref is Charles Breakspear. Just the 46 yellows and 3 reds in 13 games this season.
In December 2017, he sent off 2 MK players in a match and Posh still managed to lose, Grant McCann was the Posh boss on the day..
