Peterborough United have confirmed former goalkeeper is to join Championship club Ipswich Town

Peterborough United have confirmed goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic will be joining Championship side Ipswich Town.

The Posh contract of the 23 year-old Aussie was cancelled by mutual consent on transfer deadline day (Monday).

And yesterday (Wednesday) independent Ipswich Town site https://www.twtd.co.uk/ revealed Bilokapic would now move to Portman Road. Posh director of football Barry Fry has today told the PT that the story is accurate.

According to TWTD Bilokapic will link up with the Ipswich Under 21 squad and play as an overage player. He will also assist the club’s senior goalkeepers with matchday preparation. Bilokapic will not be registered to play for the Ipswich first team.

Bilokapic moved to Posh for an undisclosed fee from Huddersfield Town in January 2023 and made 61 first-team appearances, 48 of them in League One.
