Peterborough United at Colchester offers up a third Lisbie brother and a reunion for old friends, plus how you can watch the game
Peterborough United could get a look at a third Lisbie brother in the Tuesday night friendly at Colchester United (7.45pm kick off).
Kaion Lisbie is also a winger, like his older twin brothers Kyrell, who is with Posh, and Kyreece, who left Colchester for Reading in the summer after rebuffing attempts by Posh to sign him in the last two transfer windows.
Kaion Lisbie began his career at Leyton Orient before spending two development years in West Ham United’s Foundation set-up. He joined Colchester’s under 21 squad last season.
The 19 year-old has made just one substitute appearance for Colchester’s first team, in a Vertu Trophy game against Fulham Under 21s last season, but he has featured in Colchester's pre-season friendlies. Lisbie scored in a 5-0 win at non-league Harlow Town.
Colchester have also beaten Heybridge Swifts 4-0 when on-loan Posh striker Brad Ihionvien was among their scorers, after losing 3-2 at West Ham. Former Posh player Harry Anderson also scored against Swifts.
Colchester are managed by former Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley. The club were close to being sold to a consortium led by ex-England and Chelsea defender John Terry.
Posh are expected to field two teams tonight, one for an hour and another for 30 minutes. Winger Owura Edwards, who joined Posh after leaving Colchester at the end of last season, should be involved.
Centre-backs Sam Hughes and Tom O’Connor are not expected to take part as they continue their recoveries from injury.
Posh fans not travelling to Colchester tonight can watch the action on a stream provided by the home club at a cost of £5.
Supporters will need to register on the Colchester ticketing website before being able to purchase the stream for £5. See here
