The PT has found six Posh promotion winners who also turned out for Stevenage, plus a couple of others who often excelled at London Road as well as a manager who didn’t!

1. MICHAL BOSTWICK
A marauding midfielder in almost 200 games for Stevenage before moving to Posh for a reported £800k in July 2012. He served Posh well, mainly as a centre-back and a fierce-shooting penalty kick expert. He made 229 appearances for Posh scoring 22 goals before moving to Lincoln City. Enjoyed a second spell at Stevenage and still playing aged 38 for St Albans in the Isthmian Premier Division. Photo: Joe Dent

2. GEORGE BOYD
Posh signed 'the best player in non-league football' from Stevenage for a then non-league record fee of £265k in January, 2007. He went on to become a Posh great making 322 appearances on two spells, scoring 76 goals. Boyd helped Posh to promotions in 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2010-11 before playing Premier League football for Hull and Burnley as well as international football for Scotland. Photo: Joe Dent

3. TOM CONLON
A Posh youth team graduate who managed just three sub appearances for the first-team, but the silky-skilled left footer went on to have a decent Football League career with Port Vale, and now Oldham, after making 71 appearances for Stevenage who signed him from Posh in September, 2014. He has over 300 EFL appearances under his belt and he's not yet 30. Photo: ssss

4. GIULIANO GRAZIOLI
The only player to score five goals in a single Football League game for Posh (in a 9-1 win at Barnet in 1998). The striker only made 49 Posh appearances in total after signing from Wembley FC in 1995. He played for Stevenage on loan from Posh in the 1997-98 season. Photo: David Lowndes
