Other Peterborough United players pushed the hat-trick man hard for man-of-the-match

Peterborough United’s players had their shooting boots on as they swept Wigan Athletic aside at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday.

It finished 6-1 to Posh with Kyrell LIsbie hitting a hat-trick. He was obviously a contender for man-of-the-match, but other Posh players were also impressive.

The right-back was solid and safe defensively and tidy in possession. Hit the crossbar with a cracking header - 7.

CARL JOHNSTON

Caught dribbling in his area to present Wigan with their goal, but he didn't let it bother him - 6.5

TOM LEES

Two assists in the opening 10 minutes for the centre-back as a lovely cross was followed by a header back across goal. A towering defensive display also – 8

A nervy start to his comeback game when he could easily have conceded a penalty. Played strongly in the second-half though – 6.5

ARCHIE COLLINS

Industrious and precise. Cleaned up Wigan threats consistently - 7.

DONAY O’BRIEN-BRADY

The midfielder was better in this game. Looked busy and lively before his substitution early in the second-half - 6.

CIAN HAYES

Terrific cross for the second Posh goal, but didn’t look to have his usual zip and energy. Withdrawn early in the second-half - 6.

JIMMY-JAY MORGAN

Some classy moments from the on-loan Chelsea teenager. Delightful chip for Harry Leonard’s goal and took his own goal well – 7.5

KYRELL LISBIE

He's developed a happy knack of being in the right place at the right time. A hat-trick here, all from close range. He was actually pretty quiet apart from when he was scoring, but what a goal threat he has become - 8.5

HARRY LEONARD

This tireless worker for the team deserved his simple goal. Picked up an an assist as well - 7.

BRANDON KHELA (sub for O’Brien-Bardy, 65 mins).

Impressive once he got into his stride. Excellent assist for Aderoju's goal - 7.

DECLAN FRITH (sub for Hayes, 56 mins).

The winger was aggressive and looked dangerous. Played a big part in the Lisbie hat-trick goal - 7.

PEMI ADEROJU (sub for Leonard, 71 mins).

A great moment for the striker as he claimed his first senior goal with a composed finish.

PATRYK SYKUT (sub for Morgan, 71 mins).

The 17 year-old doesn't look out of place at this level.

GEORGE NEVETT (sub for Okagbue, 86 mins).

No issues in his 11 minutes on the pitch.

Unused subs: Peter Kioso and Bastian Smith.
