Milton Keynes boss on a 'sad' draw as Peterborough United were 'not a real threat'
Milton Keynes boss Paul Warne labelled Saturday's draw with Peterborough United as their saddest of the season.
MK have amassed just five points from their six league games so far this season. They haven’t won in League One either as five of those points have come from draws.

He described the 1-1 draw with Posh as the saddest of those draws as he didn’t see Posh as a carrying a real threat.
Posh and MK sit in 21st and 20th in the table respectively after six matches, both on five points.
Giving his thoughts on the point, Warne told the MK Citizen: “Out of all the draws we’ve had, I think this is the saddest. The lads are disappointed not to see it through.
"Peterborough are a really good side, but I don’t think they were a real threat. I don’t think Will (Dennis) was making worldie saves, they had a few shots from the edge of the box. That said, until you get a second goal, the opposition will keep plugging away.
“We had chances to get a second goal, but we didn’t. The bit that upsets me though is that our basics weren’t very good. We can’t expect to have to score two or three every week to win a game. I’d expect us to have a little more energy come the end, we just looked flat.
At times today, we created some really good opportunities, they just fizzled out. In the second-half, we got into good areas but our crosses hit the keeper which is frustrating.
“Dan had a really good chance and we back him to score that.
“Then it was a sucker punch at the end, and that’s not to say Peterborough didn’t deserve anything, they possibly did, I just don’t think our goal was under massive threat But we didn’t have a real grip of it in the last 20 minutes.
“They won more aerial and ground duels, and I think we sunk too deep. They asked a lot of questions of us, and we answered a lot of them but fundamentally we didn’t win and we have to address that.”
