Delivery dragged down and Kent is able to head away as first man.

Viscous curing shot from Johnson on the left, needs Butler to head over. Corner.

Now is the time to push on and make Preston nervous, they’re good value for their lead but they will be desperate to preserve it given their poor start to the season.

The ref plays an advantage as JCH is fouled, he manages to find Marriott as he falls down and as the forward brings the ball forward the goal seems to open up on the right but he drags his shot and its wide, with no pace on.

Maguire off, Brad Potts on. Heads straight up front

Randall replaces Knight as Posh set to go for it now. Looks like a back 4.

Pym to the rescue as Riis forces his way through. Unlucky for Kent who makes a good initial tackle but the ball rebounds harshly and Riis is able to get a shot at goal, which Pym has to save with his feet.

Posh get a crossing chance of their own from a free-kick, Grant puts in the ball, Kent arrives on the penalty spot but his header loops over.

Finally Posh win a header at the 4th time of asking, the ball ends up out to Whiteman and after his cross back in is headed out again, Whiteman blasts well over.

Two more corners come into the back post, Preston win all of them, Hughes heads the third down and its deflected for a fourth. This is frightening.
