Posh get lucky as West Brom miss aa header from a goalkick. Dembele has it in the final third but goes with his weak foot and tries to chip a ball over the top for JCH to run onto. Maybe if he was Usain Bolt, he would have got there. Another example of a wasted opening with the ball.

JCH there again for another corner. This is what this game has descended into. West Brom are playing so high but Posh can’t find any quality on the ball to exploit it.

Bit of a lull before Mumba gives the ball away with a lax ball and Phillips pounces. He drives into the box, twists and turns and shoots low, well blocked by Kent. JCH initially heads the resulting corner out of Benda’s hands but the giant German confidently comes for Dike’s header back into the area.

Another good Posh block, Edwards this time called into actin after Norburn makes a mess of his first touch in the box. Dembele seems to have taken a knock to the head as Posh lumped it clear.

Posh just aren’t shar enough, not picking enough second balls up and losing it trying to play out of dangerous areas. JCH is isloated, Posh have rarely even looked to find hm.

Corner comes in again. Clarke is up first but there is no West Brom body when it drops. They are dangerous in the air but Posh are doing well to limit needless set-pieces.

Posh fail to capitalise on a decent break opportunity, with Burrows and Dembele but they can’t find execute the one-two and it’s back to the 11 man defence. Benda has to punch another corner over the bar. Kent had made an initial block from Livermore on the right.

He’s causing a right problem Posh, Dike and he’s getting closer. No opposition again on the right and Kipre is allowed to palce the ball on his head. Dike outjumps Kent and it is only just over the bar.
