Peterborough United host Hull City in a battle between sides who both won promotion to the Championship last season (February 26, 3pm).

Hull did so with Grant McCann and looked well set to remain in the division under his leadership.

That was until a change of ownership and it was decided that he would be replaced by Shota Arveladze.

He has his chance to take his revenge today as Hull are the opponents for his first game back in charge of Posh.

Follow the action on the PT live log below.

LIVE BLOG: Posh vs Hull

Key Events

  • 3pm kick-off
  • Grant McCann’s first game in charge
  • Posh could complete a league double
  • The sides came up together but Hull are 13 points better off (20th)
  • Hull have won 1 in 7 under Shota Arveladze

Well over from Lewis-Potter.

Edwards concedes a foul, bundles Salter over middle of the goals. 25 yards out.

Spell of possession for Hull, ends when Benda comfortably claims a low cross. Posh seem to have slipped back, I wonder if they are trying to pull Hull out.

Posh deal with the first Hull corner of the match, conceded by a lucky deflection. Hull try to feed it back outwide after Norburn heads out but Fleming trips over on the area badly cut up by the warm ups on the right infront of the LRE.

Posh are going to have to work very hard to break this Hull side down. They are sitting very deep and there looks to be limited space for Posh to exploit. Szmodics seems to be roaming, poppoed up on bth sides so far.

Ball seems to be bobbling around, pitch looks drier than it has been in recent weeks.

Posh are indeed in a back three. Burrows and Ward allowed to get very high so far.

Lovely passing football from Posh, keep the ball for the whole first minute until Norburn shanks a ball over the top out of play.
