Live coverage as Posh host Bournemouth in the Championship at 7:45 pm at the Weston Homes Stadium.

Posh come into this off the back of another disappointing away performance at Coventry, losing 3-0, but can take heart from the fact that they were exceptional in their last home outing against Birmingham, winning 3-0 on that occasion.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, come into the match looking to reclaim the top spot they lost to West Brom last night (September 28). The Cherries are yet to lose in the league this year and have a range of attacking threats Posh need to be wary of.

Good defensive work from JCH wins the ball ball back for Posh. They work it upfield and it finds Dembele on the left of the box, he beats Brooks all ends up. Crosses to Grant but the ball balloons off his foot as he tries to take it down and lands safely in the hands of Travers.

Bournemouth just starting to get find their way though now. Edwards is needed to cut out a Brooks cross after he skips passed Butler.

Great save low down from Cornell. Bournemouth match that look easy, from a knockdown from a throe, Rogers burst into the box found Billing, who has his angle closed down by Cornell to make the save.

Unlucky break of the ball for Posh. Norburn makes a great sliding tackle on Norburn in the middle of his own half on Brooks. he goes short to Taylor who plays a lovely weighted pass to Dembele. He sprints passed Stacey, who throws himself to the ground, just managing to knock the ball off Dembele and out for a goalkick.

Excellent running from Dembele to skip away from Kelly and Lerma on the edge of the box, he tries to work a shooting chance but decides to pass out to Burrows on the right of the box. His cross is too long though and gives JCH too much to do. He’s shown a willingness to get an early ball in a few times, which is positive.

Bournemouth are pressing high. Norburn feels the pressure and loses out, Ronnie is on hand though to pick up the ball and turn out of trouble. Posh definitely being denied space when they try to bring the ball out of defence though.

Both teams just geeling their way into the game, a few spells of possession come to nothing. Burrows appears to be a straight swap with Ward on the right.

Bournemouth looks as if they are playing a 4-3-3. Solanke up top, with Rogers and Christie either side. Billing, Lerma and Brooks are a fearsome looking midfield combination at this level.

Morgan Rogers looked a handful when playing against Posh for Lincoln last season. By all accounts, they are a free-flowing attacking side who will commit bodies forward.
