Poya Asbaghi takes charge of only his second Barnsley match in the hope of turning around an alarming run that has seen the Tykes win just one of their last 17 league matches. Posh, meanwhile, are looking to end a run of five without a run with another impressive home display.

Randall makes his return to action in place of Burrows.

The press is kicking now for Barnsley and Posh are looking more frantic at the back.

Barnsely swap forwards with Adeboyejo for Cole and midfielders with Palmer for Benson.

Barnsley are growing in confidence here aswell. Thompson is increasingly being caught out of position and Norburn has given the ball away frequently already. The saving grace for Posh is that their passing in the final third has been worse than Posh and it has cost them good opportunities.

Edwards the latest to try the ball into the feet of JCH as he runs into the box but it’s overhit and poor.

Posh still there to get caught on the break. Cole leaves Taylor for dead and finds Styles who unleashes a shot 30 yards from goal that has Cornell worried, he’s rushes backwards but it goes just over.

Barnsley still showing no ambition in this. Burrows clips a ball into the box now, Taylor bursts free and is inched away from making contact and brining in down but can not. Getting a bit frustration but Posh still can’t pick out a man in a good area.

Posh bring on Norburn for Coventry and Szmodics for Corbett. Looks like a 4-2-3-1 now

What a great ball from Dembele. Again, he feeds a lovely weighted ball the way of JCH, this time he shows the pace to get on the end of it. Collins comes out and by the time JCH gets to it on the left of the box, the angle is so tight. He gets his foot to it though and Collins makes the block.

Barnsley keeper Collins down holding his foot for a minute, doesn’t look completely comfortable yet still. Posh need to test him and quick.
