Posh are absolutely outraged, they feel it should have been a penalty. Ward’s cross is deflected but finds his way to Butler. His weak left footed shot appears to hit a body but it’s unclear where.

Smith fires over from a speculative shot on the break. More than 25 yards out.

Great chance goes begging. Ward brings the ball forward again, he goes across to JCH on the edge of the box, he cuts inside and loses the ball, it bobbles back to him but Szmodics takes it off him and has an awkward shot on the turn he blazes over.

Posh piling forward now but being let down by their final ball, Szmodics overhitting a good crossing opportunity.

Ball over the top to Ward gets him in but there’s noone to the box to support him. He tries to wait and pick put JCH as he arrives but not good enough.

Smith floats a ball to Lokilo on the right, who is free yet again but this time his cross goes straight out of play.

Posh have been awful this half, not much more to say than that. Completely lost control a match that looked easy in the first half. Donny now starting to dominate the midfield. John-Jules drops deep and clips in a diagonal ball that Lokilo runs onto and Bursik has to race off his line to make the save. Could have been 3-2.

Arsenal loanee striker John-Jules replaces Bogle.

Ball to Beevers at the backpost, his shirt is being pulled but he goes out to Reed on the edge of the box, who floats a poor ball straight into the hands of the keeper.
