LIVE BLOG: Posh vs Bristol City

Key Events

  • 3-2 Bristol City FT
  • Taylor, Grant and Clarke-Harris are replaced by Szmodics, Ward and Coventry
  • Clarke-Harris drops out of the squad
  • 2-2 at the break after 3 goals in 8 minutes
  • Two goals for Szmodics against his old club

Posh are out first in what is still horrible weather, if anything the rain has got heavier during the break.

The all of a sudden Martin is given a fre header in the box, Butler has no chance against James in a battle in the air, he heads it across to Martin and Posh are lucky he plant it wide.

Posh are level though after Szmodics looks a header all the way over the diving Bentley and in from the left edge of the box after a Butler header. It has been a great resposnse from Posh after conceding.

I was trying to say George Tanner puts City in front. Coventry reacts too slow to a ball that is bouncing around on the edge of the box, Wiemann steps in and wins it, works a shooting chance the a teammate that Cornell comes off his line to save but is unlucky as Tanner gets a tap-in

Chance again, this time Burrows looks like he has space on the left edge of the box but elects to shoot and scuffs his shot horribly wide.
